ICE, Regional trains and S-Bahn
ICE trains run hourly from Berlin, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Erfurt and Dresden to Munich, for example. The public transport network in Bavaria (S-Bahn/ regional train) is very well developed.
