Abstract Guidelines
Part I: General Information for Authors of the ILRC 2024 and CLRC 2024
The organizers of the ILRC 2024 and CLRC 2024 invite authors to submit abstracts for presentation at the 22nd Coherent Laser Radar Conference (CLRC) or the 31st International Laser Radar Conference in Landshut, Germany from 23rd of June 2024 to 28th of June 2024.
Both conferences will be held together in presence for the first time and hosted by German Aerospace Center (DLR e.V.).
Please note that for historical reason the abstract processes for ILRC and CLRC are slightly different:
(a) In case you would like to attend ILRC, we expect a 2-4 pages abstract that is reviewed by the committee. After the review and acceptance, a revised version (still up to 4 pages) shall be provided and will be available to the participants.
(b) In case you would like to attend CLRC, we expect a 150-word abstract, that is screened by the committee whether it is adequate and on acceptance you will be requested to submit the extended abstract (in the same format as for ILRC).
Submitting an abstract is a 2-stage process:
- First submitting an abstract
During the pre-registration process you have the option of stating your academic title during the registration process. This information is very helpful for us, as the German funding programme we apply for, requires a respective statistics. Thank you very much for your support!
- Later, after acceptance notification the regular registration is obligatory and implies payment of the registration fee. Therefore, with the acceptance notification, we will provide a link to finalize registration and payment.
Please note:
Every author who will finalize her/his registration until 20.05.2024 will benefit from the Early Bird conference fee.
Early Bird fee depends on the time of your registration, not on the time of payment. That means that the fee stated on your invoice will
stay the same even if your payment is done after the Early Bird deadline.

all abstracts and manuscripts for technical merit and suitability of content.

You are required to submit only one version of your abstract. Please also note that depending on the total number of abstracts the ILRC and CLRC Conference Chairs
and the Program Committee Members of ILRC and CLRC it might be necessary to limit the number of oral presentations given by the same participant.
The selection of papers will be made by the ILRC and CLRC conference chairs and the technical committee members of ILRC and CLRC
on the following criteria:
-
- General interest of the subject
- Relevance to the subjects covered by the conference
- Originality of the material presented
- Clarity of the abstract
