Pre-ILRC/CLRC 2024 conference EARLINET Meeting

Based on the long scientific collaboration in the field of atmospheric lidar research between the European lidar network EARLINET and the German Aerospace Center (DLR e.V.) the Pre-ILRC/CLRC 2024 conference EARLINET meeting will take place one day before the official opening of the ILRC/CLRC 2024  conference in the same conference venue, Room Aula, at ta.la Convention Center Landshut, Germany.

Among other things, the meeting will focus on the preparation of an EU COST Action, in which German Aerospace Center (DLR e.V.) is
also actively involved. In addition, the EARLINET General Assembly will be held, which is also open to potential new members .

Organizer of this EARLINET meeting is the EARLINET Council (Holger Baars, TROPOS, Germany; Eleni Marinou, NOA, Greece;
Lucia Mona, CNR-IMAA, Italy; Doina Nicolae, INOE, Romania; Michael Sicard, LACy,France).

The EARLINET council is represented by the council speaker: Dr. Holger Baars Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS) Permoserstrasse 15, 04318 Leipzig

The meeting is supported by National Institute of Research and Development for Optoelectronics INOE 2000, 077125, str. Atomiștilor nr 409, Măgurele, Romania, represented by Dr. Doina Nicolae.

 

The organizer of the ILRC/CLRC 2024 conference supports the organizer of the EARLINET meeting, the EARLINET council, represented by the speaker Dr. Holger Baars, Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS) Permoserstrasse 15, 04318 Leipzig, with this registration website and the online participant management.

As a pre-conference event of the ILRC/ CLRC 2024 conference the participation in the EARLINET meeting
is not included in the ILRC/ CLRC 2024 registration.

The participation in in the EARLINET meeting is limited to 100 participants, therefore a pre-registration is required.
The meeting is free of charge. The organizer of the EARLINET meeting already confirmed the participation to the EARLINET meeting.

Accredition on site will be provided by the DLR Event Management Support in the foyer area, info desk will be open from 08:00 in the morning.
